Accounts Payable Lead
Location: Johannesburg
Educational Qualification and Work Experience
- Finance Degree or National Diploma in Accounting or an equivalent tertiary qualification
- A minimum of 10 years working experience in accounts payable, of which 5 years must have been in a senior supervisory function
- Working and process flow knowledge of SAGE 300 will be advantageous
- Must have a good working knowledge of Excel
- Must be a team player and be able to work under pressure and keep to deadlines
- An organised individual with strong attention to detail
- Flexible to work occasionally after hours to meet deadlines
Duties
- Maintenance and management of the full vendor lifecycle
- Reconciliation of weekly and monthly payment batches. Ensure payment batches and reconciliations are submitted for payment according to payment terms
- Reconcile creditors account to the Creditors Ledger and trial balance
- Ensure payment advice and proof of payments are emailed to creditors timeously
- Ensure Accounts Payable deadlines and submissions are adhered to
- Ensure tax invoices comply with SARS standards and regulations
- All queries are followed up and resolved in the shortest possible timeframe within policy framework
- A professional attitude is displayed when responding to customers’ needs
- Provide continuous support to the Accounts Payable team
- Manage Accounts Payable team in terms of effective distribution of workload, performance management, training etc.
- Assist with internal and external audit queries regarding Accounts Payable related matters for the year end audit
- Provide information to the organisation as and when required
- Provide input into the forecasting and cash management cycle
- Drive integration and harness synergies with supply chain and the overall secure to pay cycle
- Developing, implementing, and improving processes and systems to increase accuracy, efficiency, and drive continuous improvement
- Knowledge of BBBEE Act and Skills Development

Fleet Supervisor
Location: Midrand
Description:
The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating and supervising the acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles.
Effectiveness areas:
- Purchasing vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleet
- Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles
- Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed
- Managing vehicle licensure and registration
- Ensuring all fleet members have proper licensure
- Monitoring drivers of vehicles to ensure adherence to proper driving practices
- Ensures the procurement, maintenance, inventory and control of the appropriate tools, parts and equipment needed to repair vehicles in a timely manner;
- Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progress
- Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency & processes
- Maintain information database
- Ensure proper direction of traffic fines
- Manage costs on fuel and lubricants.
- Manage monthly lease instalments.
- Manage vehicle use and ensure abuse is addressed immediately
Educational Qualifications and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in fleet management, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Junior Estimator
Location: Johannesburg Head Office
Description:
Responsible for contract cost estimations, planning and project controls in connection with new and current contracts. To ensure speed, accuracy, transparency and auditability of estimation and project controls while considerably reducing mistakes.
Key Results Areas (KRA’s):
- Identifying bid opportunities, visiting project sites, and attending pre-bid meetings
- Prepare bid estimates, assist in project cost controls/models from bid stage (estimation/pricing of direct/indirect costs, markup and preparation of BOQ’s), contractual stage and implementation
- Collecting and gathering the information that will be used to produce project estimates
- Preparation and submission of bids. Supporting and assisting the company with making the right decisions in order to successfully win bids
- Manage continuity between estimating and post-tender commercial control in conjunction with Finance Department and operations
- Manage due dates of contract price increases and contract expiry dates
- Relevant data analytics, reporting and dashboarding for informing and decision-making purposes
- Planning and organizing, and estimating work assignments, as well as other tasks as required by the management
- Carefully reviewing and examining data and documents such as analysis reports, purchase orders, and subcontracts
- Forecasting how long it will take to complete a particular project
- Identifying and evaluating all technical issues that are related to a particular project
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or in other related discipline.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Several years of proven and relevant work experience in a construction or engineering industry
- The ability to be detail-oriented in order to successfully review information and complete projects
- Good verbal and oral communication and interpersonal skills, as a junior estimator is required to possess excellent customer service skills and also liaise efficiently with clients, contractors, and management
- Adequate familiarity and proficiency with computer applications and electronic equipment
- Well-developed organizational and self-management skills, which enables a junior estimator to maintain his or her composure in order to work effectively under pressure and also meet up with tight deadlines
- Computers and Microsoft Suite of Softwares
- Estimating software packages
